The SEEDS Program

SEEDS is a five-step training program designed to equip early childhood educators to lead hands-on food literacy workshops with young children.

Through SEEDS, teachers learn how to guide children in exploring where food comes from, how it grows, and why it matters for health, community, and the planet. The training provides a flexible, engaging structure that blends storytelling, early STEM, and cultural food traditions into a meaningful learning experience.

SEEDS is ideal for use in classrooms, childcare centers, homeschool, and after-school settings. Once trained, educators can deliver the full workshop directly with students.
